Introduction Post
Welcome to Nicky's Paranormal Blog
Hello, dear readers! It's a pleasure to be able to share my long-time knowledge about the paranormal. The first thing that I'd like to share with you is that instead of referring to them as "ghosts" or "spirits" or "entities," I prefer "energies" instead... This is part to do with my beliefs system and also because everything has energy or a "soul" so to speak.
Now, I'm not going to tell you what to call them, I'm just letting you know how I refer to them as. This is my preference. Also, I don't know if I would call myself a "medium" per say. However, I am able to feel their presence and because of that, it seems as though they are drawn to me more as a result. This is the case with many people that are able to sense them. I wouldn't call myself a medium because I am unable to hear them speak. Although, I can feel their presence; I describe it as kind of like when you feel someone staring at you. It's like an extra sense.
It wasn't until somewhat recently that I realized I'm able to turn it on and off like a switch. I can close my eyes, and check around a "perimeter" that I set up in my mind. I can feel energy that's within the perimeter. There have been a couple times that I felt an energy so strong, it's the strongest presences that I've ever come to encounter.
The first time, it was shortly after my boyfriend got murdered when I had just turned 18. I was living with my dad at the time, it was just us. He had been asleep for hours, and I was laying down, watching tv with my cat, Tigger, and he was laying on my chest. I felt this presence or energy behind me. It was so strong that I was scared to look, and Tigger was staring in the EXACT direction that I felt it coming from. So, I turned over on my side, pulled up the covers over my head and went to sleep. I'm not sure what I would've seen had I'd looked, but I'm not sure if I want to know and I'm kind of glad I didn't find out, honestly.
Paranormal Experiences That Happened To Me In My Own Home
These experiences that I'm going to share with you happened in my home in San Marcos, CA that I shared with my mom, her boyfriend, and my two little brothers. Luckily, we no longer live there. However, we lived there for a few years. They moved in during 2018, and I moved in during 2019. We ended up moving out duirng the beginning of December 2022. Anyways, I'm going to share my paranormal experiences that I encountered while we lived there.
One of the first things that happened to me in that house, was when I was sitting on the couch in the living room, watching tv. Anyways, while I was sitting on the couch, watching tv, in my peripherial, I saw someone sitting at the table in the kitchen. Now, I thought it was my little brother because that person had curly black hair a little bit above shoulder-length. When I turned to look, there was nobody there. So, I went and knocked on my little brother's door and asked him if he was just in the kitchen, to which he told me he wasn't. When I asked him if he was sure, he replied, "Yeah, I'm sure" in a tone that emphasized he's pretty sure where he was or was not. Now, this might not seem like a big deal, but it was certainly odd because the person that I saw, I had seen as clear as day, even though they were in my peripherial.
Then, time had passed, but once again I was sitting on the couch in the living room, watching TV. The front door was open, but the screen door was shut. So, if you were in front of the doors, looking outside the screen door, you could see outside, but being outside trying to look inside, you wouldn't be able to see anything inside the house. So, anyways... While I'm sitting there, I hear the screen door being violently shaken from the outside. I look at the door, and there's nobody even there, but yet somehow, someway, it was being violently shaken without anyone there to do it! How is that even possible?!? There's only one explanation; it was paranormal.
Before I begin to talk about this next experience, I want to ask if you're familiar with Sleep Paralysis? For those of you who are not familiar with Sleep Paralysis... Let me go ahead and explain to you what it is. So, Sleep Paralysis happens when you were asleep and then wake up
Now, I'm going to share the first experience that happened to me in my own bedroom. I woke up to hear some woman's voice that was whispering in my ear and quickly realized that I had sleep paralysis. So, I started to try to look in the area in which it was coming from, but as my eyes started moving closer, they started slowly closing, as if it didn't want me to look. As they started closing, I fought it as hard as I could while shouting inside my mind, "Fuck you, fuck you fuck you!" I was able to fight it off, and began attempting to look in that direction again. However, once again my eyes started slowly closing again, and I had to fight it off. I'm not sure how many times this happened, but each time I fought it off, I was able to get closer and closer each time.
Then, I could hear my mom out in the hallway, and I attempted to call out to hear, which only came out broken, squeaky and weakly, which didn't even sound like myself. Very soon after, I was able to break out of it, I sprung up out of bed and ran out of my bedroom to go tell my mom about what happened... Perhaps I would've been able to see whatever it was that whispering in my ear, had I'd been able to look in that direction. Then again, who KNOWS what it would've been!
I'm going to save my two worst and scariest encounters for my next post... Something to keep my readers interested in the next post, and also so that I can go ahead and post this to my new blog! Thanks for reading. I'd love to hear your feedback, comments, thoughts, theories, questions, etc. So, feel free to comment below! Thanks, again and I can't wait to hear from you!
